Gene Edwin Ross

Obituary of Gene Edwin Ross December 24, 2016 Gene E. Ross, 70, of Fulton, passed on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 13, 1946, in Corning, a son to the late Harry and Twila Rogers Ross. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Army during 1966 to 1972. Gene worked at Owens-Illinois in Brockport from 1972 to 1986 and then in Volney from 1986 to 2001. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife, Christine; three daughters, Wendy Ross, Amy (Ralph) Stoutenger and Kristina Dopp; one son, Todd (Tracy) Ross; four grandchildren, Nicholas (Rachael) Ross, Lexi MacDonald, Benjamin Scott and Brady Ross; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Ross and Derek Gibson; two brothers, Brent (Debbie) Ross and Kelly (Diane) Conrad; one sister, Pam (Mark) Kenward; step-mother, Gloria Ross as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton.
