Gary A. Wilson Sr.

Gary A. Wilson, Sr., 69, of Fulton, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 17, 2026, with his family by his side. Born in Chicago, he was a son to the late William and Betty (Conrad) Wilson. He served in the US Navy then went on to work for Golden Sun Bus Service retiring after many years. Gary’s love for travel took him to Arizona, where he met his wife. They built a beautiful life and raised their family in Fulton. Gary loved fishing, playing basketball and horseshoes, cheering for the Bears, and enjoyed watching classic John Wayne films. He was predeceased by his son, Gary A. Wilson II and his younger brother, Jim.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Cindy (Woodworth) Wilson; two children, Jacob and Diana; siblings, Steve (Randa) Wilson, Bob (Dolores) Wilson, Don Wilson, and Debbie Wilson; close family friends, Austin (Autumn LaLone) Wheeler, and Timothy Lanning; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In respect to Gary’s wishes, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
