Gary A. Forbes, Sr.

Gary A. Forbes, Sr., 63, of Hannibal, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 27, 2024, at his home. Born in Auburn, NY, he was a son to the late Leroy and Sarah (Blass) Forbes. He worked as a forklift operator for DCA Express in Oswego, retiring after several years. Gary was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved woodworking and would carve elves and little villages. Gary was predeceased by his sister, Joyce.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Linda; three sons, Josh (Amanda) Babb, Gary (Megan Hall) Forbes, Jr., and Eric (Jennifer) Forbes; seven grandchildren; 11 siblings. Nancy, Arthur, Floyd, Roger, Shirley, Hazel, Sandra, Theresa, Carol, Rosemary, and Walter; several nieces and nephews.

In respect to Gary’s wishes, there will be no services. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
