Obituary of Frances M. Ives Frances M. Ives, 83, of Hannibal, passed away on Wednesday, April 18th at Oswego Hospital due to complications of Alzheimer’s Disease surrounded by loved ones. A native of Fulton, she lived in the Hannibal area for the past 40 years. Fran had attended the River of Life Assembly of God Church in Fulton. She was known for her creating dolls, bears and rabbits which were sold in area gift shops. Fran enjoyed her herb garden, traveling, antiques, many collections and was always busy doing something. Surviving are her husband, Edward Ives of Hannibal; daughter, Rebecca Taylor of Hannibal; son, Peter Hammond of Sodus; grand-daughters, Tracy Hughes, Elizabeth Geers and Amanda Taylor; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-grand-daughter and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Lillian Kimball Phillips and brothers, Arthur, Donald, William, Raymond and Vernon Phillips. Calling hours are from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 25th at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street in Hannibal with services to follow at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
