Obituary of Emily Love Emily Mincher Cook Love, 88, of Liverpool, formerly of Sandy Creek, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at home with her loving family. Born in Bellshill, Scotland to the late William and Emily M. Cook Robertson, she has resided in the Central N.Y. area since moving to the U.S. in 1956. Emily’s real love in life was her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting and was an avid reader. Emily was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Walter Love in 2015 and brother, Angus Robertson of Scotland in 2016. She is survived by her four children, Janice (David) Fort of Munnsville, Derek (Debbie) Love of North Carolina, Donna (Christoper McGraw) Love of Liverpool and Dianne (John Novak) Love Novak of Liverpool; six grandchildren, Joshua (Lyndsay) Fort of Sherrill, Jennifer (Robert) Braun of Sherrill, Jacqueline Fort of Munnsville, Heather (Mike) Stam of North Carolina, Trevor (Christina Thornton) Love of North Carolina and Andrew (Yaelin) Haworth of Wyoming; three great-grandchildren, Austin Eddy of Sherrill, Brayden and McKenna Stam both of North Carolina; one sister, Elizabeth Robertson of Bellshill, Scotland; one nephew, Brian Love of Pennsylvania and two nieces, Sheila Love and Allison Love Turner both of Colorado.
