Eloise M. Rockwood

Obituary of Eloise M. Rockwood Eloise M. Rockwood, 87, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse. She was born in Fulton, a daughter to the late John and Mary Mansfield Howard and resided in Baldwinsville for 49 years. Eloise graduated from Fulton High School in 1949 and Crouse Irving School of Nursing in 1952. She was a registered nurse for 45 years, retiring in 1997. Eloise and her husband, Parker, enjoyed traveling and ballroom dancing. She was a member of the Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Eloise was predeceased by her husband, Parker E. Rockwood and two brothers, John E. and Leigh Howard. She is survived by a daughter, Diane (Edward) Swiderski of Rockford, IL., a son, David (Linda) Rockwood of Deerfield, NY; one brother, James Kevin Howard of Florida; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Howard of Florida; two grandchildren, Matthew and Amy Rockwood; one great granddaughter, Autumn Rose Ambrose, as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton followed by burial in Mt. Adnah Cemetery.
