Obituary of Eleanor M. Thomas Eleanor M. Thomas, 83, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Upstate University Hospital. She was born in 1937, in Auburn, a daughter to the late Edgar and Dorothy Aikens Combes. Eleanor retired from Central Square School District as an elementary teacher after many years of teaching. She was a member of the Granby Center United Methodist Church, Enoch James Thomas Memorial Cluster, Granby Center Fireman’s Ladies Auxiliary, The Oswego County Fireman’s Ladies Auxiliary and L.A.F.A.S.N.Y. Eleanor was predeceased her husband, Enoch Thomas in 1995. She is survived by her two daughters, Terri (Jim) Proud of Fulton and Karen Williams of Syracuse; four grandchildren, Laura (Richard) Wyant, Christine (Brandon) Wood, Brianna Williams and Timothy Williams and two great-grandchildren, Liam James and Meredith Eleanor. Calling hours will be 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 4 p.m. Private burial will be in Martville Cemetery at a later date.
