Obituary of Edward B. Decker January 9, 2017 Edward Bryan Decker, 70, of Phoenix, NY departed on January 9, 2017 at 1:45 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital after an extended illness. He was born to the late James and Agnes “Marie” Decker on June 2, 1946 in West Harpersfield, NY. He was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Vernadean W. Decker; a daughter, “Baby Girl” Decker; brother, Charles Decker and sister, Ethel Decker. Surviving are his children, Diana Decker of Phoenix, Wanda (Lewis) Steinbrecher of Phoenix, Brenda Edwards of North Carolina, Randall (Linda) Coit of Phoenix and Wanita (Matthew) Eckert of Phoenix; brothers, Stanley (Carin) Decker of Warner Robbins, GA, Jerry (Penny) Decker of Oakland, MD and William “Bill” Decker of Welden, NY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Calling hours are Thursday, January 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal. Spring burial will be in Fairdale Rural Cemetery, CO. Rte. 3, Hannibal. Mr. Decker’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their care of Edward during his hospital stays.
