Obituary of Duane L. Horton Duane L. Horton, 69, of Martville, lost a long hard fight with dementia on Wednesday, May 23. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Duane was an avid hunter who was proud to have been recognized for the record buck he had gotten and loved fishing of any kind. He was predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Rose Horton and son, Chad Horton. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Arlene; son, Eric (Missie) Horton; brother, Terry (Sally) Horton as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours or service. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Springbrook Cemetery, Sterling. Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal, has care of the arrangements.
