Donald William Aldrich

Donald W. Aldrich, age 82 of Hannibal, NY, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Don was predeceased by his father, Donald L. Aldrich; and sister, Sandra Kogut.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jean Aldrich; children, Susan (John) Cordone, Aaron (Mark) Gaffney; sister, Cynthia Shramek; grandchildren, Stephanie (Henry) DeRocha, Janelle (Robert) Knight, Elora (Robert) Gray, Joel Gaffney and Kyle Gaffney; and great-grandchildren, Zoey, Eryka, Zenon, and Maryn DeRocha.

Don was the founder of North Country Gymnastics. He coached gymnastics for over 30 years. Don enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed attending all the sporting events they participated in. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping on the St. Lawrence River. He was a dedicated and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Foundation or Wounded Warrior Foundation.
