Obituary of Clark "Howard" Halstead Clark “Howard” Halstead, 92 of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, June 26 at Seneca Hill Manor in Oswego. He retired from Nestle Company in Fulton after over 40 years’ service. Clark was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater of Operations. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing. Clark was predeceased by his first wife, Jean Halstead; an infant daughter, Donna; children, Randy, Frances and Howard and by six brothers, Paul, Arthur, Charles, David, Chester and Edward. Surviving are his beloved wife, Ruth Halstead; children, Frank Halstead (Norma), Mary Anne Merritt, Joyce Forsythe (Gregg), Linda Halstead, Catherine Forsythe (David), James Halstead (Karen) and David Halstead (Kristen Binder); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 1 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with services to immediately follow at 4 p.m. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, July 2 at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, County Route 3 in Hannibal.
