Charles D. LeRoy, a lifelong resident of Fulton, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on Saturday, July 29th, 1939, in Fulton, Charles lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication.

Charles was the beloved son of the late George and Eleanor LeRoy and was preceded in death by his brother, George LeRoy, and his devoted wife of 30 years, Joyce LeRoy. Together, Charles and Joyce shared a passion for travel, exploring new places, and creating lasting memories. Charles dedicated his professional life to the Miller Brewing Company in Fulton, NY, where he worked as an Electrical Engineer. His commitment and expertise were highly regarded by his colleagues and the community. Charles was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in the simplicity and beauty of nature. He spent countless hours hunting and fishing, activities that brought him peace and fulfillment.

He is survived by his loving children, Karen (Marc) Elken and Michael (Michele) Handzel of Renton, Washington. Charles was a proud grandfather to Elizabeth Elken and Max, who brought immense joy to his life.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Thomas Grady and the staff at Oswego Hospital for their exceptional care and support during Charles's final days.

In accordance with his wishes, a private service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, where Charles will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife, Joyce. Friends and family are invited to leave special messages and memories for the family by signing the guestbook.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Charles's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring his legacy of kindness and generosity.

Charles Donald LeRoy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
