Obituary of Charles Cox Charles “Al” Cox, 94, of Hannibal, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 after battling with Alzheimer’s and Covid-19. Born at home in Hannibal to Charles and Lena (Hewitt) Cox, where he remained a lifelong resident in the same house. Al was enlisted in the US Navy serving during World War II. He worked as a TV repairman for Greco’s in Fulton for 42 years. Al was a member of the Hannibal Community Church for several years where he served as an Elder and sang in their choir for around 60 years. He also sang with The Snowbelters Barbershop Chorus for many years. Al was predeceased by his two sons, Charles Jr., and Keith; daughter, Janice; brothers, John, and Robert. Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Burdella; nephews, John (Julie) and Rick; nieces, Beth, Joyce, Judy, Donna and Becky and his cousin, Virginia Cooper. Services will be held at a later date.
