Obituary of Charles C. Bolton November 12, 2015 Charles C. “Chuck” Bolton, Sr., 76, of Sterling, passed away on Thursday at University Hospital after a sudden illness, with much love and great sadness our family said goodbye. Born in Sewell, NJ, he had resided in Sterling for the past 38 years. Chuck was employed at Miller Brewing Co. in Fulton and later retired from Alcan Aluminum Corp. in Oswego. His first love was farming where he was well known for his delicious roadside stand tomatoes. Left behind are his wife of 54 years, Esther Bolton of Sterling; daughter, Linda Ramsey of Nashua, NH; sons, Charles C. Bolton, Jr. of Fulton, Edward J. Bolton of Fayetteville and David M. Bolton of Oswego and daughter-in-law, Susan Bolton of Fulton; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; siblings, Harold Bolton of Dunellen, NJ and Carol McClellan of Albion along with several nieces and nephews from all over New York State and New Jersey. Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, November 20 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street in Hannibal. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 21 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 923 Cayuga Street in Hannibal.
