It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chara L. Huller-Lenhard, affectionately known as "Chacha" to her friends. Chara passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the age of 90. She was a beloved resident of Hannibal, NY, and was born on February 24, 1936, in Phoenix, NY.
Chara dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Sunrise Nursing Home in Oswego, NY. Her compassionate nature and warm spirit touched the lives of many, and she was cherished by both her patients and coworkers.
Family was the cornerstone of Chara's life. She is survived by her loving children, Kim Rice, Corey Huller, Tami Huller and Deidra Wilson, as well as siblings, Debbie, Sandy, Linda, Dennis, and Norman. Chara's legacy continues through her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she adored.
Chara was preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Dorothy Dann, several siblings, her first husband, Bernard Huller, her second husband, John Lenhard, and her children, Timothy, Andrea, and Penny.
Chara's life was filled with simple joys and cherished moments. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She had a passion for crossword puzzles and playing canasta, and she relished the adventures of traveling with her husbands on their motorcycle and in their RV. In her earlier years, Chara was an avid baker, known for her delicious potato candies.
A memorial service celebrating Chara's life will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories of a life well-lived. To leave a special message for the family, please sign the guestbook.
