Obituary of Carole Ann Fiumara January 6, 2017 Carole Ann Fiumara, 72, of Fulton passed away peacefully at Oswego Hospital on Friday, January 6 surrounded by her loving family. A native of Plattsburgh, Carole was a lifelong resident of the Central New York area. Mrs. Fiumara retired from the Oswego County Department of Social Services. Carole enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching Syracuse University sports. She is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Beach and a granddaughter, Heather Oney. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Joseph Fiumara, Sr; five children, Joseph (Christine) Jr. of Fulton, Julie Fiumara of Cicero, Beth (Bill) Oney of Fulton, Michelle (Scott) Smith of Oswego and Chuck Fiumara of Liverpool; seven grandchildren, Jake, Stacey, Anthony, Stephanie, Justin, Rebecca, Ryan; six great-grandchilden; a brother, Ronald (Debra) Lushia of West Virginia. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 13 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. There will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central NY, 5005 Campuswood Drive, East Syracuse NY 13057.
