Obituary of Carol J. Johnson April 18, 2014 Carol J. Johnson, 80, formerly of Oswego, passed away on Friday, April 18 at Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton. She was the daughter of the late, Lynn and Ruth Lewis Johnson. Surviving are her two sisters, Lynne “Bunny” Phillips of Georgetown, TX and Judith (Richard) Tyler of Hannibal; nieces and nephews, David and John Scharf, Patricia Becker, Jill Gilbert and Susan Messer; and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 31 with a memorial service immediately following at 11 a.m. at the Hannibal United Methodist Church, corner of Church and West Streets in Hannibal. Burial will be at Onondaga Valley Cemetery in Syracuse. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff at Michaud Residential Health Services, Fulton and Pontiac Nursing Home, Oswego for the love and care that Carol received during her stay. Memorial gifts may be given for Michaud Residential Health Services through the St. Luke – John Foster Burden Fund, 299 East River Road, Oswego, NY 13126. Foster Funeral Home in Hannibal has care of the arrangements.
