Bruce Paul Waldron, 74, of Fulton, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in Concord, NC with his daughters by his side. Born January 7, 1951, he was a son to the late Paul E. and Ruth D. (Vanderwyst) Waldron. Bruce was a 1970 graduate of Phoenix High School and went on to serve his country with honor in the U.S. Army Reserve from June 1971 to April 1977. Bruce was a skilled and dedicated carpenter, proudly working with the Carpenters Local 277 for 49 years until his retirement in 2008. Bruce was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a lifelong member of the Granby Hunting Club, where he shared his passion with friends and family.
Surviving are his three daughters, Laurie (Bryan) Post, Lisa (Brian) Esarey, Jennifer (Christian) Watkins; eight grandchildren, Alexis Davis, Hannah (Sam) Perkins, Darryn Palmares, Madison Watkins, Allison (Jadan) Bruno, Noah Esarey, Eric Esarey, and Megan Post.
He is also survived by his six brothers and sisters, Pearl Cavalero, Ralph (Betty) Waldron, Paul (Elisabeth) Waldron, Eleanor (Charles) Moore, Kendall (Melissa) Waldron, Veronica (Bryan) Elsworth; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Bruce was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Heidi (Kendall) Waldron and brother-in-law, Alfred “Fred” (Pearl) Cavalero.
Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the Gentiva Hospice team for their unwavering compassion and dedicated care over the past three months. Your kindness brought great comfort to Bruce and his family, and it will always be deeply appreciated.
Calling hours will be held from 11am – 1pm on Saturday, June 21st at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A graveside service with military honors will immediately follow and will be held at Jacksonville Cemetery, 9250 Fenner Road, Phoenix.
