Obituary of Bruce Vincent McKenna December 30, 2016 Bruce Vincent McKenna, 77, of Cato passed away Friday at Auburn Community Hospital. He was born in Fort Covington, NY on June 13, 1939 to Violet O’Daughtry and William “Bill” D. McKenna. Bruce was employed by Brown’s Moving and Storage Company in Syracuse for many years. He enjoyed history, reading, writing poetry and singing, but most of all he loved being a family man. Bruce was predeceased by his daughter, Ruthanne Chappell-McKenna in 1997; siblings, Bill, Donnie, Brian, Michael and Patty. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 49 years, Winifred McKenna; daughters, Patricia McKenna of Solvay and Kelly (Richard) Gilfus of Union Springs; grandchildren, Samantha, Reggie, Bruce and Casandra and great-grandchildren, Rhianna, Eden, Selena, Allayae and Elliot. Calling hours are Wednesday, January 4 from 3 to 5 p.m. with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal. Spring burial will be in Martville Cemetery.
