Obituary of Beverly J. Rogers Beverly J. Rogers, 83, of Granby, died Sunday, October 22 after a brief illness at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. A native of Aurelius, she had resided in the Granby area most of her life. She retired from General Electric in Syracuse in 1990 after 36 years. Beverly was a member of Bowens Corners United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Barbara Jean Cummins; two sisters, Elsie Joslin and Myrtle Baum; two brothers, Arthur Peacock and Bernie Peacock and son-in-law, Richard Harris, Sr. Surviving are her husband, William A Rogers, Sr.; three children, William (Patti) Rogers, Jr. of Fulton, Patricia Harris of Oswego and Christopher (Donna Rae) Rogers of Panama City Beach, FL; a sister, Gladys Guernsey; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Services will be at the convenience of the family with burial at Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander. For those wishing donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Beverly’s memory.
