Obituary of Beverly J. Best July 13, 2016 Beverly J. Best, 85, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, July 13 at Michaud Residential Health Services in Fulton. She retired as a secretary at SUNY Oswego after 15 years. She had also worked as a medical secretary in Fulton. Beverly was a member of State Street United Methodist Church, Bessie Rich Circle, Pastor Parish Relations Committee, Sunday School Teacher and Youth Activity Leader. She was a member of the “Green Shirts Group” and “Oil of Olay Group”. Beverly spent her winter months in Myrtle Beach, SC for many years. Her greatest joy was to be with her children and grandchildren. Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Best and a son, Douglas Best. Surviving are her children, Kenneth “Kip” (Barbara) Best, Jr. of Rochester, Cynthia (Douglas) Gosch of Oswego, Judy (Donald) Roik of Fulton and Susan (John) Kenyon of Fulton; grandchildren, Kelly Palmeri, Kassandra Maxim, Steven, Matthew and Andrew Hutchins, Douglas and Sara Roik, Daniel and Nicholas Kenyon; a sister, Shirley Mieczkowski; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, July 17 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with funeral services 11 a.m. Monday, July 18 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Adnah Cemetery in Fulton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michaud Residential Health Services Activity Fund or to a favorite charity.
