Barry Dean Hilts

Barry Dean Hilts, 81, of Central Square, NY died on December 22, 2025, at home. He was born on August 22, 1944, in Dexter, NY, to the late Arthur and Madeline Hilts.

He is survived by his daughters, Deanna (Joe Jackson) Hilts and Salleen Sherman; four grandchildren, Randy, Rikki Jane, Alanna and Abel; seven great-grandchildren, Devon, Dylan, Dani May, Denessa, Dalton, Dawson and Charlotte; and siblings, Dortha Standen, Pauline Piper, John (Betty) Hilts and Bill (Sally) Hilts; many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was a treasure hunter who could always be found at flea markets and estate sales. He always had a smile and a laugh for everyone. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 1pm to 3pm with a funeral service at 3pm, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY. Burial will be in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, NY. To leave a special message for the family, please visit sign the guestbook.
