Obituary of Barbara D. Blake March 1, 2017 Barbara D. Blake, 92, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, March 1 at Morningstar Care Center in Oswego. A native of Rome, she was a life resident of Fulton. Barbara retired in 1987 from the computer department at Nestle Company in Fulton. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Fulton, its office ministry, alter guild and had served as a Sunday school teacher. Barbara was a member and Past Matron of Elizabeth Chapter #105, Order of the Eastern Star; an Associate Past Grand Marshal of the Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star; Past Junior Deputy of Athena Triangle; a member of the A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and ARC of Oswego County. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold A. Blake, Jr. in 2014, their daughter, Susan Miniaci in 2004, siblings, Bette Dunham, Ellen Hawley, Marjorie Norvell and Robert Besaw. Barbara is survived by a grandson, Jon Miniaci of Florida; sister, Patricia Loomis of Oswego; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with services to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Adnah Cemetery in Fulton.
