Arthur Douglas "Doug" Wiles

Obituary of Arthur Douglas Wiles Arthur Douglas “Doug” Wiles, 74, formerly of Jamestown, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Oswego Hospital with his son by his side. Born in Jamestown, a son to the late Marion and Theodora (Golden) Wiles. Doug served in the US Army during Vietnam. After his military service, he worked as a mechanic for Newark’s Auto. Doug enjoyed fishing and was very active with American Legion Post 149. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Janis in 1997. Surviving are his son, Eric (Heidi) Wiles; grandchildren, Alexis, and Annabelle Wiles; siblings, Brian Wiles, Michelle (Russ) Brunco, and Evelyn Bookbinder; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date. For those wishing, contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 149, 364 Fluvanna Ave. Jamestown, NY 14701 in Doug’s memory.
