Arnold “Arnie” John Coe, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on December 17, 1945, in Syracuse, New York, Arnie spent most of his years in Fulton, NY, surrounded by family and friends.
Arnie was a dedicated truck driver for St Johnsbury in Syracuse, NY, where he worked diligently for 26 years. His love for his family was matched only by his love for the great outdoors. Arnie was an avid hunter and fisherman who found immense joy in gardening and lending a helping hand to others.
Arnie's warm, generous spirit touched many lives. He leaves behind a loving family, including his son, Matthew John Coe of Oswego, NY, and his daughter, Shelley Jean Alicea of Charlotte, NC. Arnie is also survived by his brothers, Phillip Coe and Kenneth Coe, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Arnie was preceded in death by his parents, Francis W Coe and Mary E Coe, and his brothers, Donald Coe, Robert Coe, and Gerald Coe. He shared a special bond with his nephews, the late Donald Coe, Jr., and Gary Coe.
Family and friends will gather to honor Arnie's life and legacy on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 1pm at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. Burial will immediately follow in Roosevelt Cemetery, Pennellville. His memory will be cherished forever, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Arnie's memory to a charitable organization of your choice, reflecting his passion for helping others.
