Obituary of Arlene R. Dwyer Arlene Ruth (Moore) Dwyer, 85, of Fulton passed away on Sunday, January 7, at Seneca Hill Manor. Ms. Dwyer was a 1949 high school graduate of the Baldwinsville Academy. She had resided in the Syracuse and surrounding areas for many years before returning to her native home of Fulton. Arlene was employed at Armstrong in 1950, worked at Carrier as a secretary in the engineering department for two years and at Agway for three years in the advertising department before acquiring a position at Crucible Industries in Syracuse as an inside sales representative until her retirement in 1997. She enjoyed spending time out bowling and golfing with the Crucible Recreation Club. Arlene was a former cheerleader, avid swimmer and enjoyed spending time in her garden. She was predeceased by her parents Raymond Irving Moore and Marion Elizabeth Gorton Moore, as well as a brother, Robert Henry Moore and two sisters, Mildred Worden and June Schraufnagel. Surviving are four children, Helen Marie (Thomas) Coates of Lysander, Michael Patrick of St. Petersburg, FL, John Joseph of Treasure Island, FL and Phillip Henry of Aspen, CO; two grandchildren, Graham Thomas Coates and Hillary Hannah Coates; one sister, Elizabeth Mae (Homer) Clark of Syracuse and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a funeral to immediately follow. Burial will be in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, in the spring.
