Ae Suk Abbott (Chong) age 80, of Sandy Creek, New York, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026. She was born on August 10, 1945, in South Korea.
Ae Suk retired from Nestlé after many years of dedicated service. She was a hardworking, resilient woman who devoted her life to her family and took great pride in her children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father, mother, brother, and three beloved grandsons.
Ae Suk is survived by her daughters: Elizabeth (Michael) Davenport, of Virginia, Kathy (Andrew) Palmer of Tennessee, Helen Wallis (Tim Hurtibus) of Sandy Creek NY, and Tammy (Chris) Miner of Hannibal, NY. She is also survived by her sister, Snow (Daniel) Serda of Virginia.
Her grandchildren include Elise (Lars) Kirkby, Erica (Tyler) Goon, Adam Fox, Riley Palmer, Cody Miner, Saydee Miner, Brody Miner, and Kaydee Miner. She is lovingly remembered by her nieces, January Serda (Mike Dunham) and Jennifer (Jonny) Gonzalez, as well as her great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Colin, Logan, Caroline, and Penelope.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a service to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY 13069.
Ae Suk will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, love, and devotion to her family and friends.
